Windstrider tossed her head as she started to lope across the meadow. Long black legs stretching out to their fullest, she arched her neck proudly as she ran, her long, wavy black tail flowing out behind her. Leaping over a small bush in her path, she kicked her hind legs out playfully, happy to be alive.
Skidding to a sudden halt as she nearly sat on her hindquarters, Windstrider paused to sniff and listen. Small ears pricked, nostrils flared to catch every scent and sound. Noticing the smell of another horse, one she had not met, the pure blue black friesian arched her neck again and pranced in place for a moment before starting the walk towards the scent.
As she walked, she grazed, randomly wandering from grass clump to grass clump. When she reached the tree, she brought her elegant head up, wuffling softly before snorting, "Hello."
