Appearance:
[x] Cupid is rather muscular, being as he is only
three years of age. He stands at sixteen
hands, “surveying” all from a mighty height.
His body flows from one part to another,
giving him the appearance of a royal beast.
[x] Cupid's coat is thick and springy. He is colored
midnight black, with no markings marring his pelt
of shadow. However, he does have a scar running
the length of his foreleg. It was put there long ago
by Thor, the mighty draft he dueled with over a
maiden. He was young and hot-headed.
[x] Cupid has a lush, full banner. One has yet to see a
thicker one. Also black, his pride of a tail reaches the
ground, but is never befouled by it. His tresses have
all of the characteristics of his tail, but it is lighter and
springier than his banner.
[x] Cupid has gorgeous blue eyes that seem ghostly and
far away. The truth is, he is blind. He was in a terrible
accident long ago that left him without the ability to see.
However, his ability to hear is fantastically acute. His ears
have adapted to his disability, so that many others cannot
tell unless he informs them so.

Personality:
[x] Cupid is a handful, so his dam says. He is very headstrong
and independent, often wandering off for hours at a time.
His curiosity has gotten him into many a predicament in his
prankster days. Cupid loves to explore and discover new
things, as most foals do. However, Cupid never really grew
out of it, and still enjoys it to this day. His inability to see
has not broken his determination, and he does not consider
it a flaw in his personality. He embraces it, and works around
it.
[x] Cupid is an enthusiastic, dependable and responsible.
He is not one to let you down. He is sensitive to others
needs, and will often put his peers before himself. He is
open-minded, and loves to try new things. Cupid is
extremely creative and unpractical. He tends to rush into
things before thinking them through. He is outgoing, but a
little too outspoken. He blurts out his thoughts regularly.

History: [x] Cupid’s Chokehold was born one summer’s eve in a birthing field
overgrown with dandelions and poppies. His dam was named
Cupid's Arrow, for the scar on her chest. His sire, Delnor, was
also a friesian, who loved to race his son across the plains when
he was still alive. His mother would watch happily as her two
favorite males spent time together, having fun. She usually
talked with her mare-friends, gossiping and laughing. Cupid
remembers her amazing beauty and bubbly personality, she
could make anyone laugh.
[x] Cupid was a yearling when his parents died. A cougar had
attacked the pair when they were searching for food for the
herd. All Cupid remembers is his parents leaving to forage,
and never returning. His foster aunt, Summer Nights, took him as
a third colt. He lead a pretty normal colthood, teasing the
fillas and then getting crushes on Sunshine and Drifting
Heaven...Ah, the old days...
[x] Once older, Cupid needed to get away. Escape the place that
reminded him so much of his parents that were dead. It was
just too much to bear. So, during the night, Cupid ran from
the place he called home for his entire colthood. He walked
miles, wandered for years. Finally, he came to a large valley
equines of every color, body, build, and ability, could be
seen here. Amazement and awe filled Cupid. He explored,
and discovered that this was a gathering for ones who
needed a herd. Cupid happily joined the N'Vera Herd, and
has lived there for one summer.
