History: Andreea was born in Bucharest, Romania to two gymnastics coaches. Because of her parents’ status in the work force, she would automatically join a gym and become a lower-level gymnast. During the Romanian Revolution in 1989, the gym closed, but she was sent to Deva to continue her training. At the age of 15, she left the sport due to a serious knee injury. She continued her schooling at the gymnastics academy, and went to a 2-year college. After graduating, she landed a job in the television industry, and now hosts her own sports show, where she travels to different locations around the world, covering sports news.
