welcome
To Eternal Snow! We are a Twilight roleplay set at the beginning of the Twilight series - just as Isabella Swan arrives in Forks, destined to meet the mysterious Edward Cullen, and his family of vampires. Of course, we don't have to go completely by the plot, there is room for change! Edit or stay with the books wherever you like, you don't even have to have read the books to join - but most importantly, have fun!
We are accepting canons and originals.

THE RULES.

Out Of Character
  • Alright, this is simple. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated. The Golden Rule. That means respectfully, nicely, etcetera.
  • Don't bring character rivalries into OOC. That just isn't right. Just because you and someone else's character doesn't get along, doesn't mean you can't be civil to one another in OOC.
  • Don't go all out cursing - you can use curse words here and there, I just don't want to see foul language every other word, all right?
  • Just use manners. You people aren't children (or you shouldn't be, anyway. o.o) you know what is right and wrong.
Registering
  • Register with your character's first and last name. No middle names, please. Also, don't join with a nickname or something. Find the character you want first, and then register with their name if it isn't taken. I'm not going to change your name unless you have a good reason.
  • One character per account. Not one account per member. One character per account.
  • Three characters is the minimum to start with. If you keep all of those three active and want another, pm a staff member. If you keep all four active and want another, pm a staff member, so on and so forth.
  • Obviously, don't register with a character that has already been taken by someone else.
Joining
  • Fill out the Joining Template completely. Leave nothing unwritten - if a certain question does not apply to you, put 'N/A'.
  • Make your joining forms of good quality. Make your histories, personalities, and appearances nice and detailed. This is, after all, where everyone is going to look to get more information on your character.
  • You are not allowed to roleplay until your application is accepted. No plotting/interaction charts either, people. OOC things, however, you may post in before your application is completed.
  • If you are joining as a Canon, you have five days to complete your joining post. If you have not completed it within the five alotted days, a staff member will pm you, warning you that your time is up. After that, you will have two days to finish your application. After that, your application and account will be deleted, and the character will be up for grabs once more. The only exceptions are if you start an application, and you have to go on, say, a trip or something. We will hold it for you, depending on how long you will be away.
In Character
  • This is an intermediate-advanced roleplay. Meaning? You should be posting at least 400 words per post. Yes, I know sometimes we get museless, and in some cases I will accept a 300 word post. It better not be consistent, though.
  • You have to have a PB (played-by, i.e., face) for your character. It isn't that hard to find one. This is a great site to find PB's.
  • Try to get a signature and avatar for your character as soon as possible. There are several places to get one. Here, The RPGC and RCR? are just a few of the great places where willing members will gladly make you a sig/av set.
  • All right, this should be a given, but some people need it clarified. There shall be absolutely NO powerplaying or godmoding here. It is childish and immature. Godmoding is where your character is never hurt when in a fight, basically. And powerplaying is where your character basically always strikes the other character/kills them.
  • With that being said, don't go around killing characters without the owner's permission. Duh. If you have expressed permission (and you better have proof, just in case) then all right, fine. But without it, you just might get banned.
  • Another no brainer. NO MARY SUES!!! Mary Sues are perfect characters who have nothing wrong at all with them. NO ONE is perfect, no one's character should be. No, even Edward is not perfect. Believe me, he has flaws, hard as it may be to believe.
  • Use spell check, use proper grammar. It is important.
  • All right, either A}} leave your posts open, for anyone, or B}} tag them for who you want to reply. That way no one's confused with who is allowed to reply. ^^
The C-Box
  • Again, treat everyone respectfully.
  • Don't use excessive language.
  • Don't spam, i.e., post twenty gazillion times at once.
  • No advertising what so ever. The only advertising that will be allowed is a link in your name. And no drawing attention to it. If you do that, I will block your IP address.
  • No harassing members.
  • No sexist/racist comments or bias against someone's religion.
Thanks For Reading!
  • Thanks for reading the rules. Now, in your Joining Form, you may place this phrase where it says 'the secret phrase'.
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb."
