You are invited to attend Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters'
High School Graduation located at the Xavier Mansion.

SOFIA MANTEGA-BARRETT -- Receiving recognition for completing the School Project
KATHERINE PRYDE -- Class Salutatorian
DOUGLAS RAMSEY -- Class Valedictorian
THERESA ROURKE-CASSIDY -- Leading the class in the turning of the tassel

WHAT HAPPENED !?

ten students at xavier's are graduating from high
school, but the night is going to be rudely interrupted.
you see, it all started with the interview of one hisako
ichiki here. the government read it, they mulled it over,
and those with anti-mutant sentiment was able to
convince their fellow representatives and the like that
xavier's school is breeding an army -- one that could
turn out just like the phoenix, who was once deemed a
prime example of that school. because the president is
still grieving over the loss of his wife in february at the
hands of mutants, it will come as no surprise that he
will sign into affect PROJECT WIDEAWAKE, in which
the u.s. government will have authority to round up all
mutants, regardless of their age. so xavier's school will
be raided, while sentinels will be sent onto the streets
to capture mutants, and in the process there will be a
mixture of death, devastation, and utter chaos.

WHO WAS INVOLVED !?

everyone. that's right, this is the second mandatory
event taking place, which means every mutant on the
site will be affected. lucky for you we will have several
options to randomly choose from that you can sign up
for so when we move into the summer season come
december/january in real time, everyone will be dealing
with something different as a result of the roundups.

WHAT HAPPENS NOW !?

for now you will simply sign up for at least two different
options, and during the month of october the cerebro
account will be pm'ing you the results of your roll. yes,
this time we're using a randomizer, so be sure you like
the options you're signing up for, because whichever
one you get you'll be playing out for the summer season.
and believe, there's going to be some massive changes
when our site moves into summer in regards to mutants.

okay, as stated above, we're going to use a randomizer to
decide what happens to who, though we are giving you the
ability to choose two different options to be randomly chosen
for and play out when our site moves into the summer season.
because our summer season isn't really set to start until some-
time at the end of december/early january in real time, you will
have a little bit of time to mull over your options, though be
warned, we are going to put up the may event to post your event
responses to in october sometime, which means you should be
putting yourself up for the drawing here so cerebro can contact
you with the results of where your character will end up for summer.

you should pick at least two choices that you feel you can live with,
and if you're feeling particularly brave, you can choose all five. if

m'kay, i have this saturday off, so i'm going
to start rolling the lottery and pm'ing people
the results -- if your character has not
posted in march, i won't be contacting you,
and you'll never know the results ... 0.0 ...
the same goes if i've contacted you in the
past month or two about another event. make
sure you're posting where you need to post,
otherwise i can't move you into the summer
season. i'd like most of the old events to be
pretty well caught up by the time we make
our switch. and on another note, if you don't
post in here with your choices by late november,
i'm probably going to just roll all five choices
for you since i'm going to assume you don't
care. so, no rush yet, but by december the
chance to pick your lottery choices will close.
hopefully that's enough of a motivation to get
you guys in here and finishing up this part so
we can start working on the results of what
will happen, where you kid goes, and what the
summer season will be looking like on the site.

and the results have been rolled for the above
characters, so it's too late to change your mind
about something now. i'll be pm'ing you guys
with explanations on how the may event is going
to work before too long -- gotta catch up on some
of my posts first, and then i'll get things started.
