welcome
welcome to ( this house is a circus ), thiac or circus for short. we are a literate to advanced site, leaning more towards to advanced side of things. circus focuses on the rise and fall of Hollywood powerhouses, starlets and hopefuls. but please, save your miley cyrus/jonas brothers and vanessa hudgens/zac efron pairing fantasies for elsewhere.
take a look around, and hopefully you’ll like what you see! (: please reserve a canon before registering, and register with your character’s first, middle and last name in all lowercase. be sure to read through everything carefully!
we are currently a canons-only forum.

( USER GROUPS AND RANKINGS ) actors; self-explanatory. keep in mind that not every single one of these people with be particularly liked, talented or famous.
behind the scenes; this includes producer, screenwriters, directors, agents, tour managers, interns, etc. they keep the business of hollywood running smoothly, though a select few get any credit or attention for it.
citizens; the nobodies. they are simply regular people with normal jobs. however, some are not just average people. some are socialites, entrepreneurs or friends of those considered ‘famous’ – but not all. occasionally, some are people who have either been discarded or have discarded the industry. their levels of success also vary. citizens are like originals - you decide every single detail (play-by, age, surname, etc).
models; need i explain? with these particular people you have more leeway as far as nationality (not ethnicity) goes.
musicians; musicians may be in bands or a solo act. it would be nice if we could get some variety in this group (i.e., rappers, folk singers, etc.)
the press; the ones who can sometimes make or break your career. they include paparazzi, editors of magazines (both important and trashy alike), journalists and the like.
successful; characters in this group have made it. not all of them will be amazingly talented or particularly likeable, but they’re interesting enough for the public to want to know everything about them. however, not all characters are dominating the tabloids and such. some are merely regarded as one of the greats, but have their privacy.
moderately successful; if your character is moderately successful, they’re on their way to becoming somebody. they aren’t household names just yet, but they’ve certainly got some degree of hype and buzz around them. have-beens trying to make a come back may be included here.
unknown; the starving artists of this house is a circus. they’ve either just started in the game or haven’t gathered enough excitement to become someone anyone really cares about. they might have a small but loyal fan base, or they might not have any fans at all. these people are as close to being a citizen as you can get without actually being one. have-beens trying to make a come back may also be included here.
