Title: Choices
Description: Multiple choices = more fun!
Belorin - December 11, 2004 10:15 AM (GMT)
Just rememberd this one! It's easy to play too!
I will put up a choice, someone chooses one of the choices and puts up their own choice and so on. There can be two or more choices, but not more than five, let's not go crazy.
First Choice:
Favorite breakfast drink;
Fruit juice, coffee, tea or milk?
jemlibris - December 11, 2004 11:35 PM (GMT)
Fruit juice please. Coffee or milk gets a skin on it if it is left for more than a few minutes.
Clearing away the dishes after a meal is not everyone's favourite occupation, but it is a necessary evil. Which do you prefer to do if given a choice?
Washing the dishes
Drying, then putting away the dishes for the washer up.
MsBeater - December 12, 2004 03:10 AM (GMT)
I'm all over drying. My grandfather's second wife used to insist on doing the dishes when she was with us and I always liked to dry them and talk to her. It was lots of fun.
Read the book, or see the movie first?
SakuraKinomoto03 - December 12, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
Depends. For HP I'd say read the books first because then you'll get all the surprises the way you should.
However, usually, I do think watching the movie first let's you enjoy the movie more than reading the book first. I'm usually more forgiving towards movies if I read the book afterwards.
Widescreen or fullscreen?
Belorin - December 13, 2004 08:42 AM (GMT)
Widescreen all the way!
Can't even think of a reason to watch a movie full screen.
Going to the movies;
go alone or with friends?

I suppose if it's a tiny tv, I can understand going full screen, but other than that, I agree that it has to be widescreen (my brother accidentally got the theatrical Two Towers full screen :( At least you can't make that mistake with the extended).
Anyway, with friends definitely. Even if the movie sucks, you can have fun making jokes throughout.
Exams:
Essays, multiple choice, or fill-in-the-blank?
jemlibris - December 13, 2004 07:53 PM (GMT)
Fill-in-the-blank definitely. I've never beeen that lucky. Multiple choice would come second. They usually belong to a bank of questions and all that is necessary is to learn all the answers. Essays really pry out what you have or haven't learned and whether you have thought about it.
More about exams & when to make the big career move:
Before the exam results come out
Or afterwards, when the worst is known?
HermioneRULEZ! - December 17, 2004 09:06 PM (GMT)
Before, I suppose, when there's some semblance of hope.
Sore throat or sore neck?
Gallifrey - December 17, 2004 09:42 PM (GMT)
Throat, definitely. I've had both and the throat was easier to deal with.
Would you rather fall teeth-first onto a concrete curb or get a paper cut on your eyeball?
Solattice - December 18, 2004 09:58 AM (GMT)
I think I'd rather have the cut on my eye, actually. I've done both before. I cut my eye pretty bad with the corner of a cardboard box before as I was trying to get it to fit in my car (the whole thing slipped out of my grasp and the box was propelled into my eye). It hurts a lot to do that to your eye at first, of course, but as long as you don't cause permanent damage to your eyes the pain goes away to be replaced by discomfort after a point. I think the pain caused by face-planiting teeth-first into concrete is worse as it tends to last longer (or at least it did in in my case). BTW, never try to take a sharp turn on a bike with no hands and no feet at the same time, unless you're really coordinated.
So, hmmm...
Would you rather have the ability to fly or to breathe under water indefinitely?
Belorin - December 18, 2004 02:43 PM (GMT)
I love flying, but the ability to breath underwater indefinitely is one of my greatest fantasies, I'd never come out of the water!
As long as we're on abilities;
become invisible or walk thru walls?
HermioneRULEZ! - December 18, 2004 10:21 PM (GMT)
invisible: It'd be more useful, and I could always sneak through door invisibly.
Mind reading or predicting the future?
jemlibris - December 18, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
Mind-reading. That way the unexpected is partly accounted for. Providing no-one can read my mind.
Lemon Meringue Pie or
Pavlova (a meringue dessert with berries, cream and passionfruit pulp)?
()=O
Belorin - December 21, 2004 05:13 AM (GMT)
Pavlova sounds interesting.
Christmas tree
Real or fake?
jemlibris - December 21, 2004 08:15 AM (GMT)
Fake Christmas tree, definitely. Save the forests, I say! :D And the one we are using this Christmas was bought 30 years ago almost to the day, for our second daughter's first Christmas. :D It certainly paid for itself. It is the same one we used year after year, until that second daughter bought one, and asked us to use that one. Now she has moved out, we thought we would give the old tree a last hurrah!
:( Unfortunately, as I get asthma, a fake tree is mandatory, anyway.
What is best about Christmas dinner?
Turkey and Ham dinner with all the trimmings?
A Christmas pudding, flambe-ed in brandy, served with brandy custard or butter, with maybe a lucky zac, or trey bit, for one of the diners?
Nuts and sweets galore?
The Christmas crackers, with hats and jokes?
Or just the company?
Mrs. Figg - December 23, 2004 12:42 PM (GMT)
The company, I get to see my grandparents who are two of my favorite people in the world.
Christmas/Yule tree lights, multi-colored or white?
mercurystar - December 23, 2004 04:27 PM (GMT)
My mom and I have had battles over this for years. I say white lights on a christmas tree, only because it seemed our color ones would clash with eachother horribly. White looks good with anything.
Tree topper - Angel, Star, or something else?
HermioneRULEZ! - December 23, 2004 10:26 PM (GMT)
I like stars better for some reason.
Tree: Tall, medium or small?
funnyface - December 23, 2004 10:58 PM (GMT)
Medium, not too big or too small...just right.
present or money?
Suze12391 - December 24, 2004 06:58 PM (GMT)
Present. I'd rather recieve a gift that I know somebody put some thought into.
Do you celebrate New Year's with family or friends?
Solattice - December 26, 2004 04:38 PM (GMT)
Whoever, it doesn't matter, I plan on not remembering it anyway ;)
Huge party, small get-together, or alone for New Years?
funnyface - December 27, 2004 04:21 AM (GMT)
I don't know if spending it with family counts as a small get-together, but that's what I'll be doing.
Would you most likely be outside lighting fireworks yourself or watching it?
Belorin - December 28, 2004 09:59 AM (GMT)
Lighting them myself, sure it's not as spectacular, but it is more fun!
New Years resolutions;
Make them or not?
chickybump - December 29, 2004 06:00 AM (GMT)
Not, no one ever keeps them longer than a week!
Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton?
aramantha - December 30, 2004 09:05 PM (GMT)
Hendrix. (What a question!)
Bob Marley or Yellowman?
jemlibris - January 8, 2005 10:24 PM (GMT)
Neither, I'm sorry. Silverchair is bad enough.
Assuming you have both, which would you prefer to lend to someone else?
a) Your Harry Potter DVD's?
Or
B) The same films on VHS?
funnyface - January 9, 2005 12:05 AM (GMT)
Not to be selfish or anything...since you asked about preference, I'd have to say VHS. When it comes to my things, I tend to get protective.
Do you care more about the state of your shoes (ex. dirty) or your clothes (ex. wrinkled, stained) when you go out?
Mrs. Figg - January 10, 2005 06:06 PM (GMT)
Since I don't wear shoes or even own any, I'd have to say I care more about my clothes.
Do you prefer people to smell of perfume, aftershave, ect. or not at all?
Solattice - January 10, 2005 10:18 PM (GMT)
Wow, I'd say that totally depends on the scent of the cologne/perfume the person's wearing. Sometimes it's enough to send a person without asthma into an asthma attack. But then again, it would also depend on the natural scent of the person in question. Sometimes too much perfume or cologne is preferable to body odor. So I think I'd have to go with a happy medium - just a tad of scent, so that you notice it more when they walk away, I think.
Ok, what type of shoes, boots, tennis shoes, heels, sandals, flip-flops, etc. etc.?
HermioneRULEZ! - January 11, 2005 02:34 AM (GMT)
sneakers, people! COMFORT! MOBILITY! COOLNESS!
Jeans or cargo pants?
Hellebora - January 11, 2005 09:45 AM (GMT)
At the moment jeans coz I just bought this beautiful new pair that are so nice but comfy too!
Ok- which would you prefer to have - curly or straight hair?
funnyface - January 13, 2005 10:12 PM (GMT)
Straight hair...it's the only style that'll work on me.
skates or bike?
Belorin - January 13, 2005 10:54 PM (GMT)
Skates!
Skates;
roller or ice?
aramantha - January 13, 2005 11:36 PM (GMT)
Ice!! :D
It's the closest thing to flying.
chocolate cookies with white choc chips, or white cookies with brown choc chips?
jemlibris - January 16, 2005 10:39 AM (GMT)
Chocolate cookies with white choc chips please. Ooh what indulgence!
For celebrations,
Eat out or eat at home?
Solattice - January 16, 2005 05:05 PM (GMT)
Oooh, I like both, it depends on the celebration! For family celebrations like Christmas and Thanksgiving, I always prefer eating at home with the family (of course). But anything smaller than that, I really prefer eating out and not having to cook. Especially if it's just me and Justin, then eating out is fun!
Ok, lets see...
Do you prefer red meat, white meat, fish, no meat, etc.?
funnyface - January 18, 2005 12:45 AM (GMT)
White meat and fish!
Do you like sweet foods or salty foods better?
Godric - January 18, 2005 06:35 PM (GMT)
Salty. I don't have much of a sweet tooth.
Glasses or contacts?
silverstar - January 18, 2005 06:42 PM (GMT)
Well personaly, neither as I don't need them but I must say my boyfriend looks LOVELY, in glasses. Quite the intellectual! ^^
Ooh here's one!
Trinket type stuff: Junk or Treasure?
Belorin - January 18, 2005 08:38 PM (GMT)
If it's mine treasure, anyone else's; junk!
Trinkets,
Glass, Ceramics or Pewter?
