HPANA has an article about a Bloomsbury press kit with a spoilerish quote from the UK kids version illustrator regarding what Harry & DD are doing on the cover.

Has anyone seen the cover for the Deluxe American Edition? It shows Dumbledore and Harry in what looks like the Forbidden Forest.

And did we see that knife before or did I just miss it? ohmy.gif Either way, what's a knife doing in a tree? And more importantly, WHERE is that tree? Oh well... 2 days, 5 hours and 30 minutes until it's answered...

Wohoo, it worked!

Anywho, I slpit this off of the HBP Complete discussion. I thougt it might be easier and safer to have a place for those little tibits of information we'll get in the next few days. This way people don't have to neccessarily post giant spoiler warnings at the front of their posts. (Good job, btw.)

OK -- I admit I am probably being dense, but why is this a spoiler? The book covers are out there for all to see, and legally. Playing a guessing game on this stuff isn't really spoiling, is it?

Edit: OK, never mind. I'm not in the right spirit, I see. happy.gif But it really is like holdng back the ocean with a fly swatter.

The artist's explanation of what DD & Harry are doing is spoilerish.

I tried to put this in the spoiler section at the top of tp but it had been disabled. huh. Anyway. To be vague (and thus not get banned from the site) they have released the description on the back of the children's edition. Check it out at Mugglenet.
