I saw it on Christmas Day. It was probably the best book to film adaptation I have ever seen. It helps that the book is super short, but this type of adaptation is what I really want out of the HP movies. Impossible I know, but still... I loved how they played out the final battle, something which is much cooler on the screen than I ever imagined in my mind. I also liked how they expanded a bit on before the kids left London. Edmund didn't come off as such a prat in the movie as he does in the book, and it's because we get to see a bit more of why he acts the way he does. Peter really is a bit of an ass to him. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the turkish delight. I still have it in my head that it should be something like roast beef. It's what I imagined it was as a child, and nothing will ever change that.
