Maria is proud of her heritage, but she will obey her older brother at the drop of a pin, and Giovanni tells her that nobody will accept the bloodline of a Titan in this day and age. Maria, however, has realised since her arrival at the Academy that there are people who are still very much in support of those long dead Titans. Perhaps things are changing for Maria Genovese. Play by: Anna Lutoskin Taken by: &&GIOVANNI GENOVESE [7 - Italian - A Priori] {Younger sister MARIA GENOVESE} Giovanni just wants to live his life in the easiest way possible: he wants to fit in, blend in, do well at school and get a good job. He's a little bit of a Muggle lover and hopes that people won't connect that to his bloodline, and he values the life of his sister much more than he values his own life. Poor guy's heart is in the right place, but it could turn around and slap him in the face. Play by: Bastien Bonizec Taken by: &&ROMILY DUPOND [7 - French - Memento Mori] Memento Mori students are, by stereotype, generally nice friendly people; but maybe there was a mistake at Sorting, or maybe this young woman is just a very good actress. Romily is not someone you associate with the words 'good' and 'natured', especially when she expresses a definate disdain for non magical persons. She thinks that her own school is a complete joke, with it's three prongs, and would have much preferred to attend Beauxbatons, but c'est la vie! Play by: Mia Kirshner Taken by: &&AMELIA ROSALES [4 - Italian - Carpe Diem] {Older brothers JOSEPH ROSALES && ASTLEY ROSALES} Rosales - you wont recognise the name, but in Spain it's always been feared. You have to be careful with little Amelia. The Rosales family are notorious for being, in the past, ruthless Spanish Death Eaters. The group has obviously long since been disbanded but Amelia seems to have with-held all the qualities Lord Voldemort adored. Play by: Mina Cvetkovic Taken by: &&JOSEPH ROSALES [7 - Italian - A Priori] {Older brother ASTLEY ROSALES \| Younger sister AMELIA ROSALES} Joseph is not even remotely scary. He's academic, solitary, and almost estranged froom his family. He's the black sheep of the family who condemns his family's history and claims to have absolutely no alliance to the fabled Death Eaters of old. Instead Joseph is completely loyal to The Rebels and all their ideals - or at least, he tries to be. He can't help glaring at Muggle haters, and he supposes thats hardly equality. Play by: Gaspard Ulliel Taken by: &&ORLA LECAIR [4 - French - Carpe Diem] Strong and silent are words often used to describe men, but in this case they are very much applicable to the Lecair girl. She's mysterious and seems to be constantly ungrounded, floating through life airily and with no real opinion. Only her inner circle know the real Orla, but that inner circle is extremely difficult to get into. Nobody knows what she likes, what she doesn't, and least of all what she supports. People are careful around Orla. Play by: Darla Baker Taken by: &&WESLEY SMITHS [6 - British - Memento Mori] Wesley is a Muggle, and he's very proud of it! There's no wand envy here. He's determined to educate wizards about himself and his fellow non-magical persons, and hopes to take on the position of Muggle Studies Professor when he graduates. Needless to say this gets him odd looks in the corridors. Wesley doesn't mean to be pushy, he just has very strong opinions. Play by: John Patrick Amedori Taken by: &&CARMEN TATIANA [5 - Spanish - Carpe Diem] Carmen has always thought herself as different, or distinguished among her peers. Which isn't hard to do when your peers are a bunch of "worthless" muggles. Miss Tatiana is one of those muggles that goes to Terra Incognita, but she doesn't consider herself a part of that sort of group. She finds her own race to be rather... unevolved, and would give anything to be a witch herself. Sadly, she has no magical ability. But that doesn't mean she can't dream of wizard domination... both of the world and of herself, if you catch her drift. Play by: Marina Perez Taken by: &&BEKKI DAY [6 - British - A Priori] Bekki is the black sheep of her family. No one knows how this powerful blood family of the wizarding community produced such a thing as a squib, and as a result she has been shunned and despised her entire life. After all, a family with strong ancestral ties to Death Eaters doesn't want to be accused of harboring those that are less than worthy to the cause. Death threats, hazings, and outright detestation are no strangers in Bekki's life, and as such she has a jumpy and paranoid demeanor even while in the "safe" environment of Terra Incognita. Her only comfort is her books, although she believes not even that would last long with the current turmoil in the government. Play by: Robin Tunney Taken by: &&ABBEY SIMMONS [4 - Irish - A Priori] {Uncle FITZROY SIMMONS} While the niece of Professor Simmons, Abbey does not share her uncle's overall distaste for common social structure, or the world in general. She particularly doesn't agree with her uncle's aversion to government. While a Titan-lover, like her father, Abbey is still optimistic about the Rebel administration, if in good hands, and she hopes to someday play her role in helping to run the wizarding community and doing her part in helping the world. Call her naive, but in her mind if people would just stand up for what they believe in then the world could become the Utopia everyone has hoped for. Play by: Sarah Bolger Taken by: &&KALLE JOHANNESSEN [7 - Scottish && Norwegian - A Priori] {Older half-sister ANNIKE JOHANNESSON} Half brother of Annike Johannesson, and son of the traveling merchant Rolf Johannessen and an unnamed scottish woman, Kalle has half wizarding blood in him that has, apparently, decided to remain dormant. A squib by definition, Kalle had never hoped to attend a wizarding school before Terra Incognita opened its doors to him. Yet this had both a good and bad influence on his life. Where his sister and he used to have a very close bond, at the school Annike began to pretend like she hated him when around other people. Still, Kalle has remained protective of his sister, and has maintained gentlemanly morals that were drilled into him by his grandparents, who raised him. Play by: Jared Leto Taken by: &&SIENNA ACERBI [5 - Italian - A Priori] {Older brother TOBIAS ACERBI} Sienna is Tobias' younger sister, aged fifteen and in her fifth year at TIA. She is the grounding of Tobias, and almost his downfall. He cares deeply about her, having lost his twin Matthias, and will do anything for her. Sometimes this can lead to trouble, and Sienna is often found caught up in escapades that normally result in her seeking her older brother's help. She will, eventually, betray him - thus causing him to turn from the side he is currently on. Her betrayal will secure her safety in TIA, but not necessarily in the outside world. Play by: Ashlee Simpson Taken by: &&MATTHEW WOLFE [7 - French - Memento Mori] {Adopted brother KRIS WOLFE} Matthew is an intelligent young man, but he seems to do much of his thinking with his heart instead of his head. He is always seen chasing girl after girl, letting his thoughts distract him in class and never really seeming too bothered by anything. He has a fear of commitment which usually means that he's almost always with a new girl. Despite being a lady's man, Matthew is incredibly loyal to the ones he loves and he absolutely adores his family. He doesn't really care about politics, preferring to stay out of them whenever possible. Play by: Owen Wilson Taken by: Em* &&KRIS WOLFE [7 - French - Memento Mori] {Adopted brother MATTHEW WOLFE} Out of the two brothers, Kris is the more restrained one. He's a hopeless romantic but seems to be pretty useless around women, because unlike his brother, Kris doesn't seem to know how to pick up women. He's rather reserved but is a trustworthy, honest friend. Often the victim of his own self-hate, Kris doesn't really get angry at anyone else unless severely provoked. He's hates bullies and loves equality for everyone. Ask him about his politics and he'll be happy to debate you, just don't insult his friends or family, because than you might have a problem. Play by: Paolo Nutini Taken by: Kinny* &&GEOFFREY CARLS [7 - American - Memento Mori] A muggle-born American, Geoffrey (or Geoff) stands out at TIA like a sore thumb. He's a classic, chivalrous gentleman, but sometimes he dispenses with formalities when first meeting someone (especially a girl he likes). He loves to cook, even though he's dreadful at Potions. Being muggle-born, Geoff has great love for muggles and thinks that the current administration's ideals on equality are in the right place. Play by: Edward Tournier Taken by: Lan* &&JADIA MIRAEL [7 - Spanish - Carpe Diem] A romantic to the heart, Jadia just wants to be loved. She's not afraid to be herself or to voice her opinions, as her family has taught her. She's a great shoulder to cry on, quick to give sound advice and loyal to all ends. Jadia's honest and trustworthy but also ambitious, otherwise she wouldn't be in Carpe Diem. Jadia joined the Olympians last year and together they're trying to bring down the current Rebel administration one person at a time. Play by: Jessica Alba Taken by: Em* &&MARC DENIZEN [7 - Italian - Carpe Diem] Marc is "the strong silent type." He's not a heavy talker, mainly because he holds a certain disdain for all other people that prevents much conversation, despite his love for his own voice. Vain, sarcastic and sexiest, Marc can sometimes be difficult to like. However he loves women, and loves to flirt with them. He has a great memory and can be quiet humorous. He joined the Olympians last year on his quest for power and is now helping them bring down the Rebel administration person by person and when it's all said and done, Marc has dreams of being the one left to lead the world in a new government. Play by: Romulo Pires Taken by: Kinny* &&DOMINIQUE NOEL [7 - British && French - Carpe Diem] {Step-brother ETHAN JENNINGS} Loud, honest and ambitious, Dominique has never wanted to conform to society's (or her step-mother's) idea of what a woman should be. She has of ideas of total equality in her mind, weather it be for muggles, werewolves, vampires, or a matter of gender. She may not always be the friendlies person, but she'll always tell you the truth (even if it's hurtful). She's loyal and trustworthy to her friends, despite the fact that people find it difficult to trust her sometimes. She's a bit reckless in her activities, enjoying drinking, smoking and the occasional drug usage. She'll try just about anything once, and is sometimes willing to compromise her ethics to get what she wants. She's believes power is the only way that anyone can make a difference in the world, and thus she's very ambitious, which is what landed her in Carpe Diem. Despite it not being too popular in her house, Dominique loves the current Rebel administration and wants to help them in the future. Play by: Keira Knightley Taken by: Adrienne* &&ETHAN JENNINGS [7 - Brittish - A Priori] {Step-sister DOMINIQUE NOEL} A half-blood, Ethan's muggle father died when he was four. His mother, Olivia, married Dominique's father, Jayden Noel, during his first year at TIA. Ethan is a quiet, reserved person, who enjoys a good book, loves the arts and a good game of quidditch. He's a bit old-fashion, believing that even though woman are perfectly capable of doing things for themselves, they shouldn't have to. He thinks men should open doors for them, stand when they walk into a room and should support them while the women stay at home and raise their children (until they're of age to attend school, and then if she wishes a woman could get a job). Ethan is also a bit of a goodie-two-shoes, preferring to stay out of trouble as much as possible. He doesn't particularly like how the current Rebel administration is extending equal rights to vampires and werewolves, he finds it a bit, well, wrong. They're not exactly human after all. Ethan much prefers the way the Titians ran things and wishes that they would return from the dead to fix the government. Play by: Marcus Hedbrandh Taken by: &&GLENDA BRAITH [64 Years - Welsh - Charms Professor] Professor Braith has been teaching Charms at Terra Incognita Academy for as long as Alec Lerwick has been Headmaster. If he's the father of the school, she would definitely be the mother. A kind, compassionate soul, with a stern attention to punishment, makes this Charms professor a tough "old bird" that could probably run the school as competently as the current headmaster, and probably with just as many Pro-Rebel ties. Rumor has it she's helping Lerwick build up an army of Rebel fighters, but one can never believe all that they hear. Play by: Glenn Close Taken by: &&FITZROY SIMMONS [29 Years - Irish - History Professor] {Niece ABBEY SIMMONS} Professor Simmons has led a hard life. Half of his family was cheated by some way or another by the government, and in the past few years his neice was discovered to be a squib. Some of his ancestors had bad ties to old governments, which also tends to make himself suspect to the Rebel government and under investigation every couple of years or so. But this History professor has nothing to hide. He cares not for the current administration, true, but he doesn't want an equally or more drastically incompetent one to take its place. Plus, he's no activist. Eventually the Rebel rule will fall, like all governments do, and chaos will ensue, with or without his pathetic help. He'd rather just sit back and passively curse all governments. After all, knowledge of the past is the greatest source of complaint. Play by: Hugh Dancy Taken by: &&AGATHE VASILIKI [37 Years - Greek - Divination Professor] This Divination professor is one of the few remaining followers of the Titanomachy, but it wasn't always this way. She was once a scatterbrained Rebel fanatic in her youth, part of the reason why she got the job at Terra Incognita, but during her first year or so of teaching she was overcome with a vision of the current government's fall, and of the Golden Titans of the past coming to save them from their fate. Well, it doesn't take much to convince this Greek bird-brain, and she has taken her vision to heart ever since. Most students don't listen to her rantings and ravings, but are there some students who are starting to see things her way? Play by: Helena Bonham Carter Taken by: &&LEON VALENTIN [44 Years - German - Arithmancy Professor] Arrogant, lacking personality, monotone... these are several frequently-used descriptors for Professor Valentin of Arithmancy. Much like his science, he bases everything on some hard numbers and a lot of loose interpretation. While not the most well-liked or sociable staff member at Terra Incognita, no one denies that he's chillingly clever. But that's just what makes him so dangerous. He's disgusted at Terra Incognita's addition of muggle students to their school, and is even more revolted by the increasing amount of self-proclaimed squibs running around. If it was up to him, he would do away with him all. True, his area of expertise isn't as "wizardly" as any of those silly wand-waving classes, but he's dead-set on keeping it as sacred as Transfiguration, Charms, or Defense Against the Dark Arts. For a long time this Arithmancy professor has been all wind, but could he be gathering followers to his cause that could do his dirty work for him? Play by: Ed Quinn Taken by: &&VALENCIA JARI [Graduated (2300) - Spanish - Carpe Diem - Adult] What should we do with the female offspring of one of the leaders of the world? Throw her into normal society with the rest of the world, that's what, because only the males of the family make it big. But Valencia means 'strong', and it is certainly applicable to this beautiful, fiery young woman. It's common knowledge that she's a werewolf - and not just any werewolf, the direct descendant of Marius no less - and it had given her a certain reputation around the Academy. This reputation she used during her seventh year at Terra Incognita to form an anti-Rebel group known as the Olympians. Now that she has graduated, will those members still at the school continue what she started? Play by: Rihanna Fenty Taken by: Kinny &&ASTLEY ROSALES [Graduated (2300) - Italian - Memento Mori - Adult] {Younger brother JOSEPH ROSALES \| Younger sister AMELIA ROSALES} Quiet, gentle, hard working: but that's only when he's in a good mood. Astley has a volatile temper and can be very cruel when his fuse has been lit. He obviously wasn't looked into deeply enough during the Sorting because Memento Mori is the house of giving people. Astley will tell anyone who listens that he'd been placed in the house descended from the strongest sort of blood - the wizards. Now he's graduated and off on his own in the real world, a world where recently there have been raids against the Rebel administration. Does Astley have some part in this anti-Rebel movement? Play by: Tom Sturridge Taken by: &&TOBIAS ACERBI [Graduated (2300) - Italian - Carpe Diem - Ministry Worker] {Younger sister SIENNA ACERBI} An ex-student of TIA, he has recently graduated from Carpe Diem as the notorious bad guy of the year. Known for breaking hearts and using girls as tools, he has left the castle to make way for the next person (who it will be has yet to be decide) and to make his life in the outside world. He currently works in various positions within the Ministry of Magic, for he has always been curious in politics (especially those of Voldemort's back in the day), and as a result put himself in amongst such a crowd. Rumours have it that he is not on their side however, and soon he may become a useful tool from the rising bad guys. Play by: Jason Behr Taken by: Em* &&ANNIKE JOHANNESSEN [Graduated (2300) - Norwegian && Irish - Carpe Diem - Potion Maker] {Yonger half-brother KALLE JOHANNESSEN} Hippie gypsy girl, Annike has a love for all things natural, and often cares more about animals than she does humans. She's capricious and wishy-washy. She's also a very talented liar and storyteller. During her last year at TIA, this former Carpe Diem student joined the Olympians in hopes of bringing down the current Rebel administration. She has since graduated and lives on the island near the school making potions for a pretty penny. Some people have to wonder exactly who some of those potions are for, and if she's been the one supplying Anti-Rebel personnel with the potions they need to harm the Rebel administration. Play by: Zooey Deschanel Taken by: Lan* &&SADE HUNTER [Graduated (2300) - British - Carpe Diem - Adult] Manipulative and cruel, this former Carpe Diem student knows how to work the system (and people) for personal gain. Of coarse she can be sweet when she's trying to get what she wants, but it's just an act. Most just think she's a complete bitch, but deep down this girl has a softer side, one that she only shows to her closest friends. Sade has always been a pro-Voldermort supporter and at her final year at TIA she joined The Olympians to try and bring down the rebel administration. Play by: Jennifer Love Hewitt Taken by: Chex* &&KEVIN LONGERFELLAR [Graduated (2300) - Australian - Carpe Diem - Spy for Hire] Kevin is an artist when it comes to getting information. He may not be the smoothest character around but he's extremely talented at manipulating people for information. This former Carpe Diem student was a spy for hire during his years at TIA and has only gotten more busy since he graduated and the war's starting. Slightly obsessive, Kevin won't stop until a mission is complete. He's also slightly paranoid about people going near his backpack because his whole life is in there. This shady fellow definitely keeps everyone guessing. Play by: Elijah Wood Taken by: Vanessa* * means that this character was created by the person who has taken it. These used to be originial characters but because they tied in so well with the plot they are now canon characters. If you have a character that you think should be a canon contact Adrienne.
