The Dig, open rp

He came over and looked at the vase in her hands " wow did you find anything about this one?" he asked curiously


Syd jumped slightly and noticed malcolm and opened the door

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. Come on, I'll change the tire and follow you back." He said going to open the trunk.


Deneille shook her head and came over running her fingers lightly over the carvings. "Nothing, but usually the pictures are telling a story, what it's about. It doesn't seem to be doing that. I may have to spend some time translating. It's beautiful though isn't it?"

He nodded " yeah it is very" he stared at it "so it doesnt tell a story "

Syd followed him to the trunk looking around

Malcolm got out the jack and spare then got the car set up. "Everything all right?"


Deneille pulled away and got the paperwork off the floor as she talked, "No, if it was a story it would be pictures, like a picture book, this is all symbols, and the best I can figure it was created for the gods."

" well that really makes me wonder whats inside now" he was so tempted to open it up as he held it now


" yeah the woods freak me out thats all"

Malcolm started taking off the wheel. "Why don't you sit in my car then until I'm done here."


Deneille went to put the papers on the table in order. "There's nothing inside, I already scanned it. It's empty."

" ok just try not to get attacked by wild animals" she walked off to his car


He set it down " well ok"

Malcolm shook his head and smiled, he finished with the tire as quickly as he could.


Deneille smiled and took the vase from him. "Your curiousity, I swear, there's nothing there, see?" She worked her nail under the lid carefully prying it up.[/COLOR]

Nick chuckled " admit it you like how curious i can be" he looked at it and inside




Syd climbed out of the car again and went to help him put the jack away " thank you stranger"

Malcolm smiled and after closing the trunk gave her a kiss. "Come on, let's head home."


Deneille smiled sadly and let him take the vase. "I'm sure your curiosity has helped you out in more then one way around here. Malcolm got ahold of Syd and went out to get her. They should be back soon."



Inside the vase was the essence of the titans, slowly leaking out and looking for a new home. Unseen and unfelt other then a perhaps a slight shiver running up one's spine.

He nodded and stared at it feeling strange about it but just brushed it off he was so drawn to the vase


She kissed him back and got into her car and started it up " yes home sweet home"

Malcolm followed her back keeping an eye out so they didn't get seperated.


Deneille frowned watching him then shook her head and left quietly heading to her room to change and hit the pool.

Syd rolled down the windows and turned on the music she felt hot though it was cold outside. they were almost home


Nick put the top back on it and set it up and locked up the control room for a while

Malcolm followed her onto the ferry and then got out to walk with her to the deck.


Deneille took a towel and a wrap and went to the pool to do laps. She needed to work to burn off energy.


The feelings and power of Hyperion, titan of light, father of sun moon and stars crept into Nick, subtle at first, but he would start to feel the need for the natural light of day to be in the room rather then the false lights.

Syd put on her jacket and walked to malcom before heading to the deck with him
