Welcome to TCos, the internet's most comprehensive resource for everything about robot cosplay. We are a dedicated community focused on building the best costumes ever to grace the fandom. We dig helping, we dig learning, but most of all, we dig giant robots!

(But mostly, it's a party in here.)

TCos Wants to Move!

Want to help TCos get its own forum, complete with image galleries, wiki, articles, info databases, and more? Then we need your help!

So the $100 goal has so far been met-- but I'll be leaving the donation link up until the move because as far as hosting goes, you really can't have enough funds saved up for that sort of thing. Thanks to everyone who contributes!

Here's my Humanformer Black Arachnia. I want to make this more "roboty" so I would love some feed back on this as it is biggrin.gif

add more joint lines, like at your elbows, knees and middle. maybe a head peice that resembles part of her head would be good. Also more spider legs. i do realise your going gothic or punk with this, a nice change.

Its a cute idea and the execution is nice for the most part. I think my main problem is with styling. The make-up and hair lok like they belong on some Mad Max costume and not a TF, if I remember BA was a bit more polished and refined. I would also suggest adding in her helmet to the mix, it would really help to establish who you are and also add to the obvious punk/rebel style you like but do it with base in canon. If you want to stick with make-up then I would suggest lining with black and then smoking it out with red for a glow effect. Also, since your face is not as dark as BA's you may want to switch to a cool toned very dark red lipstick though the black is alright, the matte was a good idea.

The white cord on your belt (I'm assuming its supposed to be web) looks out of place and weird, no other white in the costume and it looks rather like a lasso hung on your belt.

Your tailoring is great excepting in the arms so maybe set aside some time to take that in which will help to eliminate that clothing look.

To be more roboty then helmet as I said before and add in some more armor type pieces like the knee covers and point finger covers to the ends of your gloves.

Overall I'd give you a 7/10. The idea is great but the execution and specifically styling need a bit of tlc.
