They met when Greg was still the loveable lab technician that everyone knew, loved, and depended on. Okay, so Greg likes his ego stroked, but doesn't everyone? Anyway, they became pretty decent friends over the next couple of years, and Greg would sometimes run his evidence before other people's - except Grissom, of course - but don't tell anyone. So Ryan eventually moved to the horrible, lazy-ass shift - the day shift, but he returned to his senses and came back to the lovable graveyard shift and has started hanging out with the new CSI - Greg.

Bianca met Ryan in quite the interesting manner- she ran into him, quite literally. She had only been working there merely a week and was completely lost. Ryan had kindly pointed her in the right direction. They have only seen each other a few times more around the place since, as it hasn’t been that long since she started there. She was quite taken with him and has a bit of a crush on him, but nothing too embarrassing.
