He had known the risks having a younger brother who was an actor. As Coop had been the actor first, he had been the model. The paparazzi did not follow Models around as much. But they had followed around his family because of his little brother. As he had been part of his brothers entourage. As his own career had been successful... on a dare, he tried out for a role, and BAM, he was now an action star. It was ok.. but grueling. "Yes but we knew what could happen when we took this job." Or any job. It was just more difficult when you dated and actor... then things got really invasive. Thats why he had a really tall fence around his house, as well as a really tall hedge. The neighbours hated it, but at least he had his privacy. And well no one really camped out.

He winked when they shook hands. They could always be cordial. It was just a matter of how they felt that day. As he was always laid back.. something she hated.. He just took things in stride. Mostly taking things as they came. Which of course was no excuse for his temper. And it took a great deal to get his ire up. Thank good he was not too pissed about the fact that his brother was also working on this film. He had yet to have a scene with him as filming just started a couple days ago. For some reason they wanted to get their scenes over and done with. But with all the rewrites.. he doubted this film would get finished. Not his fault, he showed up every day.

"Oh, thats good to know. I will make sure the spare bedroom is cleaned. Maybe I should have the wood floors refinished too?" He joked with a hand on his chin like he was contemplating something. Nodding, he thought about that. "Yeah well remember what happened to..." He was going to say Heath, and that incident where the paparazzi squirted them with water because they had tried to get back at them. That was just stupid. "Well if you think of anything scathing to make up.. let me know. I want to warn my mother when she reads those awful rags."

”Yes but we knew what could happen when we took this job.” ”Get famous, have tons of screaming fans, getting our privacy stripped from us… yeah, that really wasn’t in the job description when I applied.” Sure, she wanted to become famous, a family name if you will but, not the way she was made out to look sometimes. Cold-hearted bitch was one that really irritated her. She love d it when the tabloids actually made it look like she was a semi-decent person because, most of the time she was. She wasn’t exactly the party girl… any more. She wasn’t into drugs, she wasn’t a terrible role model… at least she didn’t think she was. Nor did she flash her ‘business’ to the cameras. Trish was much classier then that.

”I will make sure the spare bedroom is cleaned. Maybe I should have the wood floors refinished too?” Trisha giggled. ”Clean the room but, the floors can wait till we have that candid of us at the grocery store.” The times they had been caught by a gang of cameras outside places like the grocery store were countless. They’d go in to get some grape jelly and pop tarts and the pictures would end up in some magazine with something like ‘Trisha Wilson and Fletcher Samuels were spotted at Safeway buying some rubbers’ or something stupid like that.

”Yeah well remember what happened to…” Trisha looked at him, gesturing ‘continue’ ‘elaborate’ , or something of that to him when he didn’t finish his sentence. How was she suppose to know what happened to… if he didn’t tell her. She couldn’t read minds.

Well if you think of anything scathing to make up… let me know.” Trisha laughed. ”Like… we had a quickie marriage in Vegas and got a divorce quicker then Britney’s?” That would be one for the books, if they could keep a rumor like that going for two weeks, they’d be legends. Oh the faces on her agent would be priceless, not to mention those who know about their screw relationship. ”I want to warm my mother when she reads those awful rags.” Trisha shook her head. ”Doesn’t she know most of that stuff isn’t true. I mean look at some of the things they’ve written about you… does she really think your gay?” Trish recalled how in the beginning of his career there was this big rumor about how he ‘was swinging the other way’. She doubted his mouth believed that one was true, even for a second.

He laughed again. "Yes, well I knew what it entailed. When you started your career as a model.. and graduated up to underwear model... " He rolled his eyes remembering a rather interesting incident when he was 22. Lots of screaming fans, and a huge billboard of himself in boxer/briefs. If he turned around, he would be looking at his own crotch. Of course, women wanted him to sign his crotch... on the picture. He always turned it slightly as he was left handed and it was just difficult to sign that way, He took an incredibly long shower after that. He had felt really.. dirty. Now he knew how female models felt when they were oggled like that. It was then he decided never to do that to a woman.

He was grinning now, his arms folded over his chest. he had this ability to not be able to sit still. He was always moving, always doing something. Pacing sometimes. He had a great deal of nervous energy. Its why he did things like rode dirt bikes in competitions. That irritated his agents, as there was always a chance he could break something.. damage his face. Still chuckling, she knew he was one of those overly clean guys. There was never a mess left in his house. He was always picking up after her.. another pet peeve of his.

"Do I look like the marrying type?" He actually was, he was just jesting with her. He just had not yet met that one woman he wanted to be with. He once thought she was that woman, but that lasted maybe a week. It was probably the newness of their relationship. Of course the sex. Sex made you think strange things, especially when it was that good.

"Well Britney can just go away." He rolled his eyes. He was so glad he never dated her. She was not his type, and well.. she was just plain insane. But he kept those thoughts to himself. "And I do not do Vegas." The place made him nervous. Too loud.. to much going on. Not his style.

He laughed, a little louder. "Well.. my mother knows otherwise.. as she caught me once in the back seat with a girl I liked. So no.. mom does not believe that. Now my brother.. she is still weighing her thoughts."

”… when you started your career as a model.. and graduated up to underwear model…” Trisha raised a brow. ”That’s different, someone paid you to have your clothes off and take pictures of you.” Paparazzi followed you, wait for that awkward moment of when someone had that wardrobe malfunction then, SNAP, they were just paid almost ten thousand dollars for that picture and what did you get? Nothing... except angry letters and people making assumptions. Now if you did underwear modeling, people just stared at that ad, day dreaming about god knows what.

”Do I look like the marrying type?” Trisha laughed. ”Yeah… if were just going on looks.” His personality was the same way, his mind was set for finding that ‘soul mate’ that ‘one in a million’ and whatever else they call one’s ‘true love’. Trish on the other hand, not really what one would call ‘marriage material’.

”…And I do not do Vegas.” She shrugged. ”Of course, it’s too… elaborate for you.” He was never really good with much of anything unless it was sort of the small country farm type of place.

”…Now my brother… she is still weighing her thoughts.” She raised a brow. ”Your brother is not gay… metro sexual… maybe.” He had an effect on his brother that made it quite unlikely that he’d swing the other way. She caught the younger Samuels looking at girls on set before, but, probably too shy to pursue them or something.

he opened his mouth to say something, closed it, opened it again, then closed it. All the while his face full of expressions. Damnit.. you got me there." He did not, nor would he ever regret his previous career. He had been a model. And he made a shit load of money as one. Now, he was doing something different as he was getting older, and the business was not so kind on older models. They preferred the baby face, clean cut boy. And he was definitely no longer a boy. He was ruggedly handsome, and he knew that.

He smirked at her. That was one of their differences. he WAS the settling down type. While she was not. Granted he did the public things. He just preferred the quiet. As the necessary evils of being a celebrity were that he would have to go out and do the promotional events... he just did not like them. "Hey... I am getting more distinguished with my age." He chuckled, laiughing at himself.

"Try tacky. And too loud." Again, he was one of those people who just did not care for loud and tacky. And Vegas was definitely that. Plus the amount of smokers in the casinos... the amount of alcohol that flowed. Never was, and never would be his scene.

He chuckled, and continued to do so. Yes well tell the tabloids that."

Trisha laughed as his face had multiple spasms. ”Damnit… you got me there.” Trisha smirked. It wasn’t like it mattered whether or not she won or lost the argument, she just liked being right or making a good point. Whether that was a good personality trait or not, she considered it a pro.

”I am getting more distinguished with my age.” She rolled her eyes. ”Since when were you a great wine?” She was making a metaphor. Wine getting better and better with age, she did have her philosophical tendencies, now was just one of those moments. He was getting greater with age, he started off as a model then, went onto acting, starring in one of the biggest superhero movies the box office has ever seen, now, he was acting on another promising action, thriller. But, like Trisha would ever say that aloud.

”Try tacky.” ”I thought you liked tacky…” She said with a smirk. He did wear one of the most ridiculous costumes anyone had ever seen in his previous movies and now he was wearing another tacky costume. He liked tacky, not really wearing tacky things but, you had to enjoy cheap things in order to wear them. He probably had hot pockets or something like that in his trailer right now. Now that is trashy. ”And too loud.” Trisha was about to make another funny, little comment to that statement but, decided it wasn’t very appropriate. She could have come back with something like ‘I thought you liked things loud’ implying sex, obviously. But, she didn’t want to bring up awkward memories.

”Yes well tell the tabloids that.” ”Next time I see them, I will. I’d do anything to help Cooper's reputation.” Cooper was a sweetheart. Though, her and his older brother had quite the falling out, she still would chat with the younger Samuels brother online or via cell phone.

He smiled at someone who came by to clear off their plates. They weren't due back on the set for another 20 minutes. So they could relax, and of course trade barbs. They were really good at that. If anyone could hear what they said to each other beneath their breath while on set. The stories about how these two hated each other would fly. He did not hate her, he just did not like her like he used to. As Hollywood never went to his head, he also did not put up with the bullshit. And unfortunately, she added to the bullshit.

"You know men always age gracefully. We don't need to worry abut plastic surgery or parts sagging." He kept in shape. Still ran ten miles every morning. Plus he ate better then most people, his meal today was a sure sign of that. As he had to keep in shape while modeling, he just kept up with the routine. Plus he decided that he was not going to pack on pounds for a role or take off weight. It was hard on the body, and in the long run, not healthy at all.

"Uh no. If I did I would have decorated my home with tiki, or I would have a hula lamp in my library." His home was comfortable, not tacky at all. Not a bachelor pad either. He had furniture that pretty much fit with the rooms. Not too much and not too little. He prided himself in the way his house looked. And when he was home alone, which was all the time, he did clean. It wasn't that he never had any dates, he just preferred the quiet ones. Dinner, maybe a movie. If he had to go to an event, he usually took a good friend instead of a date. It was sometimes just too much for them to handle.

He chuckled. Maybe she wanted to get into Coop's bed. As she had already been in his. Yeah he was proud of Coop, but he really hated when tabloids started some stupid rumour about his kid brother. Coop was the wilder one, the one who went to the parties. He was the one who stayed out all night. He was just tired of having to bail him out. It usually meant he got into trouble when someone took a swing at Coop. Oh well.

”We don’t need to worry about plastic surgery or parts sagging.” She raised a brow. ”I don’t worry about that stuff.” Trisha said in a sort of defensive tone. She wasn’t as superficial as he thought she was. If it wasn’t for the fact her image consultant wasn’t breathing down her neck all the time she wouldn’t be wearing frilly dresses and revealing skirts. She’d much rather wear jeans and a t-shirt but, that was normally out of the question. Christian (her image consultant) always said ‘If your not going to a sports event then I don’t want to see any jeans.’ It really pissed her off when he called her only seconds after she got back to her house about how he was looking at a picture of her in jeans going to get a starbucks coffee or something.

”So how many more times do you think they’re going to rewrite the script?” She asked, taking a sip of her Arizona green tea. It was 34 times and counting. Apparently the ending needed to be tweaked… again. They needed to re-write the ending 6 times already, 6 times just that day. They didn’t want Lance and her to kiss, they did, they just wanted it to end. They couldn’t make up their damn minds. And every time they rewrote it, the actors had to do a screen test with that scene ‘just to make sure it looked okay’.

He chuckled. He knew he hit a sore spot. It was a little mean, but in all honesty, she had been mean to him. So the pot calling the kettle black. She was beautiful, and he knew that. She looked fine with whatever she wore. Why did she have to have an image consultant anyways? That was one thing he HATEd, and he really HATED that. when they wanted to go ut and do something, together, she HAD to call that stupid dick of a guy. I mean come on... Let the poor woman wear what she wants. Granted he wore what he wanted. And yet he could dress himself. It wasn't like he wore sweats, and a wife beater.

Moving, well readjusting himself as things bunched rather uncomfortably. He really had to talk to the wardrobe mistress. This was NOT going to work out. "I have no idea. I am getting really pissed off with it. I mean for gods sake.. the love scene alone has gone through eight rewrites." He ran his hand over his short hair. They had cut it a little too short of hit taste and they darkened it. Why did they have to color his hair? "I would not be surprised if this thing does not get finished."

”I am getting really pissed off with it. I mean for gods sake… the love scene alone has gone through eight rewrites.” She shrugged. ”That could actually end up being for the better… no offense or anything but, I think that whole situation is going to be very awkward.” Not that the crew and the rest of the cast, not including a fair few who actually knew the state of their relationship. For a lot of them they probably thought it was cute or natural for them. Sure, if they were still going out it might have been not so awkward and stuff but, they weren’t and they probably weren’t going to try again. Hopefully the writers just keep the scene cute and simple and to the point.

”I would not be surprised if this thing does not get finished.” Trisha shook her head. ”No, it has to get done. Have you read some of the things people are already saying about this movie? They’re all worked up, do you know how big of a let down it would be if they decided to just end production?” She said taking a swig of her drink. Course, on the internet they were also saying the weirdest things about the movie and how they thought it would be. One person actually thought there was some sort of matrix look to the movie, like everything was all a computer and there was going to be batteries that turned into earwig type of things and went inside your belly button. Trisha got a laugh out of that one.

He smirked. He knew he would not have a problem. Since he had already done a couple love scenes. He still did not understand why there always had to be a love scene. Especially in the trilogy of superhero films he was known for. Shaking his head, he leaned forward and looked at her, his voice low. "And why is that? I am sure we both can fake it enough for it to be convincing." He leaned back, still chuckling. "Yeah... but at the rate they are going they are going to scrap it, and of curse half the driving scenes which I was SO looking forward to."

He ran his hand over his short hair. sighing. "Yeah but if it does not get done, its not our fault. Its their fault. We show up every day. We say the lines they give us. We have no control over the anal writer who has decided that he wants to change the whole dialogue. Who cares what they are writing. Its not going to hurt you or me. The only way it would was if we walked away. If we get laid off.. thats on them. So I am not sweating it." So what if the big wig hoity toity producer could not get his head out of his ass long enough to see what was going on.

"Something bigger and better will come up. I just think that right now everyone is still suffering from the writers strike. So there is a shitload of crap out there. And yeah... this is highly anticipated, but things fail. We might not get paid our full salary, but we will get paid for our time."

Trish folded her arms over her stomach. ”Sure, that’s why we are actors. Pretending is easy enough but, awkward none the less.” There was plenty of different explanations for the scenes being awkward. For one, they’d be displaying very public displaces of affection on camera for several takes because ‘the first couple weren’t up to snuff’. Two, they were exes… and exes on not so good terms. Three, some times, not all the time though, some members of the cast and crew ‘woo’ and cheer when two characters whom are love interests kiss (or do whatever else). ”…of course half the driving scenes which I was SO looking forward to.” Trisha shrugged. The driving scenes were going to be pretty cool and loads of fun but, if he was going to keep that negative out look on the situation they weren’t ever going to get to shoot those scenes.

”Yeah, it won’t be our fault but, it’s still not a pleasant feeling.” Just the idea that they were apart of such a great idea of a movie and not to have it fall through was awful. Sort of like when you practice and practice to be put in first for a football game and are let down by the coach when he doesn’t.

Trisha shrugged. ”Sure… but, you’d think a writer would want their work to be seen by tons of people, appreciated.” Wasn’t that what a lot of people wanted? To be appreciated? Liked? What better way to be accepted into the entertainment world and be a house hold name then to be the writer of a great film?
