Hello there, and welcome to Wartorn Hearts; a Deathly Hallows era Harry Potter roleplaying group! This RP will take place during the second war and will be focusing namely on the actual war aspect of things. We know what was happening with the "trio" during this epic battle, but what about the other characters we've come to love and know so well? What were Molly, Arthur, and the rest of the Weasley's up to while Ron was off locating Horcruxes and Hallows? Were Lucius and Narcissa actually coming to regret the choices they made so many years ago? And how many tight corners exactly did Kingsley and Remus find themselves in? In this RP players will get to delve into their favourite characters, taking us through their lives as they experienced this war of wars. So please, take a look around, familiarise yourselves with the plot, rules, and other important pieces of information. We hope you enjoy this RP and look forward to playing with you!

TO BE ESTABLISHED
September has finally arrived and not only has it been so kind as to bring with it crispy air and colourful leaves; but it was thoughtful enough to also bring multiple Dementor, Death Eater, and Ministry attacks. Then again...for the sake of saving ourselves from repeating, let's go ahead and just assume those delightful folks known as the Death Eaters are the Ministry.
Along with these attacks, there has been a new Ministry decree stating that all objects in wizarding posession thought or known to have above average magical qualities must be submitted to the Ministry for examination. Those who are known to have such items and who do not make an appearance by the sixteenth of September will have the items confiscated by the Ministry and serve an automatic four month Azkaban imprisonment as well as subjection to the Cruciatus curse.
Hogwarts has re-opened under the new regime with ex-Potions master Severus Snape serving as current Headmaster to the school; while Amycus and Alecto Carrow are filling in as Dark Arts and Muggle Studies professors. Their classes should no doubt be...enlightening. Along with these three changes, students must also be subjected to "Blood Status" before they are officially allowed back into the school. Lack of proper wizarding geneology can and in most cases will result in immediate expulsion and possible imprisonment. Imprisonment is also the current known punishment for those refusing to attend Hogwarts or present themselves for being given their blood status. Again folks, we'd like to stress this is the known punishment.
In other news, muggle attacks have reached alarming heights and again, we are urging wizards everywhere to take all precautions possible to prevent such things. Remember ladies and gents; it starts with "Wizards First", goes to "Magic is Might", and ends with "Death Eater".
