Nov 20 Stage 3 is now open! Be sure to read all the rules for the prizes carefully. Lith, Eido, and Saph will be handling it this week while I'm away. If no stone is found before I return, I'll randomly select a thread to place it in when I get back. <3 Have lots of fun. Feel free to finish up your stage 2 threads. I'll be back Nov 30. {K}

Nov 13 I fixed a few of the trophy images. Mysterious Magic is a slighty different hue. I also brought back Spooky Jack (so you can get that if you participated this year or last year (or both). There is also an image up for the CCW (Magic Mayhem) for the winners of that. {K}

Nov 13 New skin! Hey, check out this discussion for Skin-Tastic Members. Hey guys, it's almost time for Never-Ending threads sign-ups. Here's an idea, also... why not put your player awards, character awards, and defunct character awards in your post log? I'm volunteering for anyone who wants, I'll format your post log like mine with your trophies. EXAMPLE. {K}

Legend
the legend of narsha and a note about the gods

  • Alsana and Narsha do not represent good and evil just because one is black and one is white. Their colors represent the natural harmony between light and shadows, and endless cycle like death and rebirth. There are no wolves that have not heard of Narsha or Alsana. These two beings are factual in the eyes of all wolves.

    In the darkness of the primal chaos, there was only Alsana – the light one. For eons she was only a faint light residing in the dark nothingness, until out of her great loneliness she bore Narsha. He was born from the shadows around her and brought to life by carving a piece of flesh from her heart. He was the male – the dark one – forever her opposite. And together, they took the first physical forms and walked upon the earth their union had created. Alsana was the moon, sister to the ocean, and took the form of a white skybix with golden eyes. Narsha was the sky, the shadow that followed Alsana, and took the form of a black Nyrcean with light blue eyes. It was this harmony, born when Narsha came into being, that created the world, and together Narsha and Alsana created wolfkind – in their own images – to fill the new earth.

    Eight mighty packs rose to rule the land and as a gift, Narsha presented each with a gift of magic: the powers of blood, body, mind, spirit, and life. But mortals were an imperfect creation. They felt greed and hatred and a war broke out amongst them. Each pack wanted the others’ gift. Their endless rage spread like plaque across the world.

    Alsana demanded that Narsha take back his powers – the powers coming from him were unable to be revoked by herself – but he refused. Some believe that Narsha enjoyed seeing the wolves blood thirst and war. Others yet believe that Narsha wanted the wolves to learn to let go of their greed on their own. No matter the truth, the immortal god’s actions had created a division between Alsana and himself. She wanted peace and he did nothing. Before long, the war that had begun amongst the mortals had spread between the gods.

    To escape Alsana’s wrath, Narsha hid in the mortal world, taking on the form of a human to disguise himself. It was this first shape-shifter from which all modern Asterni are born. Narsha was careless and did not realize that he was spreading the virus to all those he injured in battle. Too late he realized this and the origins of the Asterni had begun.

    But Narsha was a true warrior and his strength preceeded him. It was easy for Alsana to find him and in a great battle, the two gods fought a final war. But Narsha’s flesh was Alsana’s flesh; it was impossible for them to destroy each other. At the last moment, Alsana imprisoned Narsha’s body into a great jewel, shattering it into five crystal shards and cast them across the earth. When possessed by a mortal, these shards can grant immense power… and when reunited, combined with the life force of five mortals, Narsha will be reborn.

    Many years have passed, and the war is still raging. Only time will tell the future.
