In the Beginning Alsana chooses a group of her most devout followers to become her 'chosen messengers.' They become the Dark Coven pack. 2007 Most of Dark Coven left their homeland in the northen territories and arrived in Navarro. Once here, they find a pack called Fading Light. Deeming Fading Light to be unworthy of representing Alsana, the Coven kills all of the packmembers. Only one member, the alpha's daughter named Sunset, escapes. She is presumed dead. Cosmo and Darius, two of three alpha males, go missing. 2008 Howl mates with Saphiice, the alpha of Night's Fire. Lithium nearly converts Trigger, a former Blue Tears wolf, to Alsana. Lithium accepts Redwing, former Blue Tears beta, into the Coven. Equis and Howl find the Spirit Shard. Equis and Valentine, the beta male, vanish along with many other pure blooded Coven wolves, including Delilah. Howl hides the Spirit Shard in Nova Bay. A metero falls during the Shooting Star Plot. Radiation affects and mutates many of the wolves. Alsana appears breifly before vaporizing the meteor. Saphiice gives birth to Howl's pups on Coven lands. Ithil, still affected by the radiation, attacks the pups. Howl defends them and tries to kill Ithil. Ithil escapes. Eidolon becomes beta. Redwing leaves the Coven. Ashe joins the Coven. A new area is found in the north, the Polar Region. During the Secrets of the North plot, the Coven and Night's Fire have a confrontation. Howl attempts to bring the Spirit Shard to Lithium from Nova Bay. He is cornered, leaps from a cliff into the bay and looses the shard. Saphiice finds it. Ithil leaves the Coven. She is banished and joines Jaded Euphoria. Ashe finds the Body Shard. Howl rapes Lithium in the Okani Delta and discovers Lithium is actually female. Rashella, of Night's Fire, and Eidolon fight in the Elysium Plains. Eidolon goes to assassinate Korin but finds him already incapacitated. Feeling sorry, she saves him before he disappears. Taiin, Howl and Saphiice's son, finds Howl and joins the Coven. Howl challenges Eidolon for her beta rank during a pack meeting. Howl succeeds in beating Eidolon because she is already injured from her battle with Rashella. There is a short famine during this winter. Many wolves go missing. Kyren joins the Coven. 2009 Lithium dies giving birth two twins, a female Arachne and male Salem. Her lover, Eirian Auryn, kidnaps the pups goes to Dawn's Omen. Howl confesses to Eidolon about he rape and Lithium's pups in Nova Bay. As beta, Howl becomes the new alpha in Lithium's place. Eidolon agrees to become alpha with him. Ashe gives the Body Shard to Eidolon. Taiin finds the Mind Shard in a tree in the Navarro. Firejade joins the Coven. Vinfe and Jericho (NF) have a confrontation in the Elysium Plains. Eidolon plans to overthrow Howl as alpha. Valentine reappears briefly during this time. Eidolon calls a pack meeting, but they are interrupted by a howl from Saphiice. She leads Night's Fire to get Taiin back from the Coven. During the battle, Essha, Howl and Saphiice's daughter, opens a portal to the Netherworld and releases ghosts. Howl calls a retreat and the Coven scatters. Some are slow to retreat from battle. Many are injured. Howl and Eidolon meet in the Polar region after the battle. Eidolon blackmails Howl into fathering her a litter of pure blooded Coven wolves. The "old" Coven returns from the North, decimated by plague and polar bear attacks, to rejoin with the new Coven in the Navarro. They are lead by a male named Eclipse Tenour. Willow Rosilyre and Arren Forlok follow with them. Eidolon's pups are born. Eclipse is appointed as her guardian.
