OOC Name: Teak (sorry for the other thread I started here on accident. I'm kind of dumb sometimes.)
IC Name: Norrh
Pack: Apparatus (please?)
Job: He'd make a good guru, or possibly a guard/hunter.
Age: Six
Gender: Male
Species: Angin
Roleplaying Example: (from Tempest) If possible, Bríghid went even more still when she turned to look at him. Her eyes.. The color there sent a strange, nostalgic warm feeling through to his toes. While externally he simply blinked once, slowly, internally he was reeling, staggered by the surprise and strangeness to see the same color from the privacy of the dreams here, in this stranger's eyes. Her eyes were not just any blue - they were his blue. Bríghid was anything but superstitious - spirits and prophecies and the like were all just blathering in his honest opinion. However, what was the likelihood he would dream the exact eye color of the she-wolf he now gazed at?

When she turned away and spoke, Bríghid let his mask slip slightly. Surprise swirled in his deep orange eyes, the same eyes he knew he shared with his brother. A frown etched an unfriendly line into his face. His triangled ears flitted backwards, giving his expression a drawn, uncomfortable look. The colors in Bríghid's dreams were never matched in real life - at least, if he saw them on something while awake, they did not hold half of the same intensity they had for him asleep. But he could not deny the strange tug at his heart when he'd seen her eyes, the strange disappointment when their color had been hidden by the back of her head.

No, it had to be simply the surprise of seeing such an unlikely color so soon after his dream that had jolted him like that. That was it, Bríghid convinced himself. He was just surprised. Taking a quiet, deep breath, the male shook out his fur and regained his composure, walking gently around the she-wolf until his body was perpendicular to hers, his head turned to face her. There was a careful cushion of space he left around her, but he still tended to stand somewhat closer than he normally would have approaching a wolf he did not know.

She had allowed him to pass. Shouldn't he keep going? The male wolf considered this as his burnt brown eyes regarded her closely. He flicked an ear in the direction of his travels. Was there really anything in that direction for him? Then again, was there really anything here for him? For some reason he felt like he should say something more to the she-wolf, but Bríghid felt his jaw lock up. For once in his life, there was nothing he could come up with to say. She had not turned him away, in particular, but she had left nothing for him to grab onto. The slippery she-wolf wished him to struggle, Bríghid was sure of it. He pulled himself up short after that thought. No, no, it was not his fault he had already made her believe he did not wish to stop and talk.

But what to break the ice with? He could not exactly comment on her eyes, despite the fact that they were the thing most of his thoughts lingered on now, for that would be.. creepy. Bríghid was not creepy. At least, he tried not to be. So he looked directly to her right, his left, where the river lay. Taking his amber gaze off of her cleared his thoughts somehow, and immediately he found his charisma again. Of course. The conversation piece had been there all along, babbling away. Now its loudness mocked him. How had he not noticed it before?

Hopefully she hadn't noticed that hesitation. In reality, merely a second had passed, but the workings of Bríghid's mind were complex - however quick. For all the thinking he did, Bríghid never appeared to think things over that much, because it did not take him long to think things out, despite how thoroughly he did so. In another compartment of his mind, he noticed her smell was quite familiar. The eyes were distracting, though, and so he did not linger on that thought. "The creek is quite nice in the sunlight, is it not?" Though he did not smile, his eyes were warm and pleasant, a strangely friendly center to his cold face. For how intimidating he was due to his stature and the constant, natural frown his lips fell into as a neutral expression for him, Bríghid had to make up with obvious friendliness. "Though, a frozen stream has its beauties too." He glanced back to the she-wolf's eyes then, possibly a bit too quickly, wondering if one might find that color in the heart of a frozen river.

"My name is Bríghid Phoenix.. and you, if I may?.."

OoC Name · Oberon

IC Name · Mercury Sable

Pack · Holocaust

Job · Puppysitter

Age · 2 years 2 months

Gender · Female

Species · Shurin

Roleplaying Example · From Myth SoL as Kenna

Kenna pushed up from the cold ground beneath. It seemed winter had made it self at home at the step, causing the ground to go cold and the air to become foggy and come out of her snout in clouds. Really winter was not her season, she went much better with fall. She stuck out like a sore thumb against the white snow of winter, making her very jealous of the Luxigniskin. They blended in perfectly with their white pelts and it just wasn't fair!

She shook of her momentary spat at the unfairness of it all and dug her claws into the hard earth breaking it up prettily. Yes she was stronger than those lux, she didn't need their white pelts, she was after all beautiful. Her jet black coat shimmered in the early morning glow covering the Steppe as she walked quickly. She was looking for her father after she had finally decided to settle down. Before she had been looking for her mother, Blaze, but she had finally decided to stop looking. She had accepted that Blaze was either dead or had abandoned them. Kenna wasn't cold, it was just the truth. There really was not other explanation for her prolonged absence.

Kenna shrugged off the train of thought about her mother and cracked her neck and back before she jumped forward, moving quickly through the tall grass that covered the prairies. Her lean form with it's perfectly long legs moved gracefully over the hilly terrain. She kept her nose close to the ground as she went, following her fathers scent trail from a few days ago. She had his skill in fishing but she also had one of the best senses of smell in their family so it wasn't that hard for her to follow his trail.

The sun had finally made it's appearance breaking through the fog coverage of the prairies when she found her father. Anyone close by didn't have to see their near identical marking to know that they were related. They both held themselves the same way, looking over others and were exceedingly stuborn. They were a fine example of the term "The apple never falls far from the tree." "Ello dad," She said simply, grinning smugly at him from a few feet away, her tail swinging playfully. It was good to see dad again.

Roleplaying Example · (as Dante on Shadow of Let)

Jeez, did this white thing have an attitude! Of course, so did all the Igniskin that he met, even some Dignis. He hated them, all the ones chock full of ego. This one had plenty to spare. She made a remark on his eyes, which wasn't entirely his fault, His dad had purple eyes, his mom had yellow. However, a genetic deficiency gave him an awkward eye, namely the yellow one. That was one reason that led to his hatred of yellow things. God he hated those bright yellow eyes.

He observed the Luxkin, who was completely unlike his cousin Genocide, who was also a Luxkin, but was only worried about him and their humble politeness. Geno wasn't covered in ego like most, and it gave Dante a slimmer of hope that there may be a "good" Igniskin other than him. Just a slimmer.

Dante observed the Luxkin as she made her way out of their location, but could barely hold a snicker when she slipped into the water and made all the fuss about how her fur looked. and other Ignis wonder why the whole Igniskin species worried him. He saw the way she glared at him in preparation of a remark. He just couldn't help himself. His smile spread all the way across his face. "Lemme guess. Say anything, and you'll rip the guts from my very body?"

Roleplaying Example · As Arsenic from From the Ashes

It was… weird, being a yearling. His birthday had just passed, and he was now offically one year old. He wasn’t a pup anymore, he was a full grown male. He was a lithe, powerful male and not to mention – quite the handsome little bachelor. He had grown into his paws and grown to an average height for a male, acquiring a healthy bulk of muscle beneath his silken pelt. His coat what still white, however the brown markings upon his fore legs and muzzle had faded and thinned. The stripe upon the bridge of his nose had turned into more of a blaze, the socks upon his legs had strunken slightly. It had taken him quite a while to become accustom to his larger body. He was bigger, stronger, faster. He was not a small pup anymore; he had trouble adventuring to some of the place he explored as a pup. He couldn’t fit inside hollow logs, he couldn’t crawl in the nooks and crannys of the dens in Lagrata, he rare fit inside abandoned dens. He would miss exploring the places he had as a child. But on the brighter side, there were more oppurities opening up for him.

He wallowed in the warm waters of the oasis, lapping up the liquid. His mind raced with busy thoughts as he quenched his thrist. Mysta island had remained hidden from him, and until know he had no idea there was a third island. He had spent nearly the whole day exploring the island, though it was relatively empty and barren. There was nothing but miles and miles of sand, and it was extremely hot and dry. Arsenic still found his newest discovery exciting. He had spent most of the hot day running through the sand, but the hours of running had proved worthy. He had found this oasis, the jewel hidden in the desert. The sun was setting, the tempuratures beginning to drop. Arsenic lifted his head, smiling. Finally. His thrist was gone. He hopped out of the water, his white coat dripping. His paws felt relaxed and they no longer burned from treading upon the hot sand. He was refreshed and ready to continue his journey.

He weaved his way through the tropical vegetation, most of which was completely new and odd looking to the male. His nose twitched as he caught the sweet smelling aroma of a flower, and he turned to look upon a vibrant red blossom. A smile curled his inky lips and he turned to look ahead, his pace beginning to increase as he moved through the treeline of the oasis. Steady his speed grew to a quick trot, the amle’s tongue rolling out of his mouth. He felt giggy with joy as he ran, and happily he let out a cry of laughter. His tail wagged and his hazel brown eyes looked across the horizon of gently sloping dunes. He moved up a hill of sand, jumping to the top in a regal leap. He chuckled aloud and ran down the steep slope, nearly loosing his balance as he gained momentom. He turned sharply, moving through a dip between two large dunes. He found himself moving upwards, and has he looked upon the never ending sands he found that the earth had leveled, the dunes – instead of looking like monsterous waves – looked like minicusle ripples. As he watched the ground, he blindly moved forward, not watching where he was going. It was at the last second he caught sight of a black figure, and he did not have any time to turn away and avoid colliding with her. He yelped softly as he felt himself hit the figure, and in a blur of black fur and sand he found himself upon the ground. He moaned, opening his eyes, spitting out a mouthful of sand. He recoiled at the taste and climbed quickly to his paws, his ears perking as he turned about to look upon the black female. He moved forward, nudging her, hoping that she was alright. “Are you okay, Miss? I’m really sorry.” He said softly, his ears folding upon his skull as he looked upon her yellow-orange eyes.

Job · Hunter for now.
Age · Two years
Gender · Female
Species · Angin
Roleplaying Example · Only moments ago the young male had awoken from his nap, he had strecthed his legs and headed down to wards the bright and cooling beach. Already, after just arriving he had found his favorite location in the general area. His nostrils flared as he took in a deep breath of salty air, come to think about it, the saltly air calmed him. It tasted like....blood. His body was overcome with urges at the simple thought of the warm crimson liquid. It was like having withdrawls from the most hard core drug ever created. He fell to the sand and buckled in pain as his fangs seemed to throb, he'd have to shave them down again today.

He laid there for a few moments after the pain had come to a stop, breathing calmly to reduce his heart rate. After he was sure that he was completely calm and collected he let a grunt of disapproval. "This is utterly redunculous!" he spat angerly as he raised his chocolatey frame off of the clinging sand. He arched his back in a rather quick motion, numerous cracks could be heard as a faint smile appeared on his muzzle. "Much better..." he cooed, shaking his body, releasing tons of tiny pellets in every direction.

He quickly trotted down closer to the lapping ocean and gazed into the water, even though the water was greatly disturbed he still managed to reassure himself he appeared fine. He pivoted on his back legs and ran back up the beach, stopping before a large leaf that had collected fresh water from earlier that morning. His pink tongue slowly slid out from between his jaws and began to collect amounts of water into his mouth. He held most of it in his mouth until he had enough, he then raised his head to look up at the sky and swallowed all that he had been holding.

"If I wasn't mistaken I'd say this was paradise..." he murmured to himself as his sky blue eyes searched the whole length of the beach, well as far as he could see. "This whole beach all to myself, no one to judge me here!" he happily added with a few simple sways of his bushy tail.

A gentle sigh rolled from within the best of Ithiria Deforge. She was bored, unusual for someone like her, but she was.. Paws gently raked over the snow-covered, rocky surface of the mountain ledge she had found and then pushed herself to rise. Her paw had healed from her encounter so many months ago with Amsterdam.. Mind momentarily wandered to the silvery male, of whom had disappeared from existence, and she had not seen since her own venture. Sighing the female absently lifted the paw and allowed it to dangle in the wind for a moment. Her family was another issue, bloody idiots they were.. Apache had gone into depression the last she had seen him, Niren became more soft then she already was towards him, her siblings.. well, she knew Kavos rejected Patches, and apparently Jekyl and Rhilu did too.. Ears pinned themselves backwards at the thought before pushing herself to all fours and turning as she chucked a small pebble off the ledge and listened to it bounce downwards, hitting other levels on its way.

The fog was thick up here, but it gave her an almost calm feeling and the space to think. Black paws drew the female further down the mountainside until she was almost at the base of Mystic Chasm. She actually really hated these parts, the land was crooked and not at all suitable for anyone really, especially with all these damned gorges and ravines. But it was required of her to travel through here to get to Astral Moors. Golden visionaries lifted towards the a passing black lake, a sour expression became fitted to her expression as she continued forwards, tossing her head in a snobbish act. Paws squished down into slippery, wet earth and a rolling groan of irritation was heard as she pulled one back and the other sunk further. "Damn it to.. Ugh!" A distress of disgust was heard as she side-stepped and moved back a step before leaping forwards once more and the 'goop' of the wet land splashed up in her undersides and face.

Being new to this area, Couper had a large chance of getting lost. Well, he already had, so it didn't matter to him what the statistics were. He was young though, at 6 months old, and people constantly worried about him being alone. He wasn't worried about being alone, however, he was always worried about being surrounded. Since his parents died all that was left of him was paranoia. Others thought he was crazy, but Coup was intent on proving he wasn't. He tried to be brave a lot, but to no avail. Everything scared him. He had no one to protect him is what the problem was.

Now he was lost. At least he wasn't being followed. Or was he? He looked around cautiously, like something had been following him. He then heard voices. Many of them. Maybe he was crazy, or he was at least hearing things. He decided to check it out, against all of his metality, and stray off the path he had been taking. he peered over a bush ever so slightly. To his surprise, there were several wolves, Sheta and Angin, that were grouped together. He didn't want to take his chances, as they may not be part of the pack. He just waited patiently behind the bush to watch from a "safe" distance, being careful of any leaves or branches he might snap or crush.

Roleplaying Example ·

There was a scream that interrupted through a delightful dream he was in the process of, but didn't wake him up. That scream turned a good dream into a bad in a flash, though it was not a very well understood dream, Abiyram had a lot of illogical dreams, so this was just like the rest. He slept with depth and everything he heard on the outside, that fights, and the screams, the sound was just taken in, no reaction came out of him.

He sucked in air, resulting in a single snore, waking his mind slightly as he did, then settling back into a silent sleep. He was curled comfortably in a ball, his front legs tucked in under his chest, and his back leg extended slightly, toes right next to his beak. Cat-like sherbet eyes safely shut off under lids of skin. His red and light gray body rested amongst an underground nest of moss, leaves, straw, red feathers, and gems of many different varieties colors scattered messily around the den.

His short striped tail flicked as his still sleeping body was becoming aware of the approaching noise. And his lungs woke up, filling themselves with the warm, moist air of his den. Opening his eyes a crack, his head moved up at the sound and scent which came closer to his being, obviously approaching him. Abiyram's eye were not willing to stay opened and blinked shut once more, but he forced them to re open.

His ears pivoted upward as he met the face of Arianna, one of his members. Her news was short, but not very sweet, yet it had a good reason for him to be disturbed.

Abiyram's head moved out of his shelter, as he raised to all fours. Out there in th open of the gardens, he could smell the scent of something else, not of the three light prides. That thing had also injured a guard. That was probably the scream he had heard from the dream... His ears turned back and he released an almost dog-like growl, as his short serval tail bristled, no one should ever come into his pride and harm anything of his, gryphon, other animals, or even plants.

He could smell fresh blood, and he gestured to Ari, to come with him, then he sped off into the realm of his floral forest.

Abiyram, was never a morning gryphon, and running like this right after awakening, exerted him. He was opened beak and panting, but overcame it when he realized his informal act. His ears were back at the angle of his tiny horns, and eyes. He stared down at the two of his members, one being Arianna.

Why did this intruder have the intention to injure his pawn? His pawns don't fight first... He growled again at the realization. Something like this had happened before, but that was when his father was in control of this pride, the assassin was never caught. Perhaps this was the same, going for him, or a different one? It took him a moment to catch up with the worry that he should have found already.

"I think... No, not again, it couldn't be... though it is possible." He spoke to himself in his outside thoughts, his voice going into an angry murmur. Abiyram looked down at the mangled body, he had no healing spells or any medical skills, so there was nothing he could quite do at the time.

I missed him too :: Profile

OOc Name: Lashes, Lashael, Adine, Emblem.
Ic Name: Skeleton Thanatos
Pack: Apparatus
Job: Self Employed
Age: 6
Gender: Male
Species: Angin

Example: Emblem From Paragon

Danger is nothing to me; for life, while this hateful mark makes me the object of your horror and disgust, - life is a burden which I would fling down with joy. Eyes, stormed over in a beautiful reflection of the turbulent spray of dark water, stared off into the depths of the ocean, lost yet again in the musings of her mentality. For without emotion to cloud up the logic with intuition and misguiding heart felt things, there were plenty of subjects of which she could tussle with endlessly in her plight of understanding. It was a hateful, spiteful task which she endured with naught a thought otherwise, in her state of emotionless well being, her ire casted in iron of which there was no breaking free. What a painful way to live if one could feel the pains of the heart, the longing desperation of such a thing.

She could not.

She was lost, as the five months of exile alone in the Shrouded Lands had left her crippled, agonizingly insane. She pursued self control like it was her last saving grace, the one thing that would deliver her from evil and the judgment that was surely to come. Who was she to understand then the abilities the mind was so capable of, the very power that once unleashed was near impossible to undo and the damage that was now so viciously permanently imprinted on the slate blue alpha of water? In her desperate want to control herself, to save herself more agonizing pain, her mind had rejected, by the end of her time, all emotion in its full completion. A transformation from caterpillar into a death moth, beautiful in its venomous poison, self-loathing in her logical ailments. Her mind had locked away everything and flung away the key down the rabbit’s hole.

Pursue it Alice, into the depths of Wonderland and fight the Red Queen. Her cold heart could not be unthawed so easily. The mere wanting of a Reioghan could not pull forth the emotion that Emblem hadn’t felt in so long, that had only been granted to her for moments in time before the key slipped from her fingers and away again, worried so effortlessly about its time. She felt nothing and gave a stoic stare at the being who had idealized herself into believing that she was Emblem’s gracious heaven-sent and with a touch of her feathery wisdom Emblem would be one step closer to being cured.

She tried that.

Despite the idealistic wonder of naïve mortality, despite the logic that would seem to go along with it, such a thing was not easy. Emblem was holding onto something, unable to let but a single thing go and until she herself figured out what that was, she was stuck floating in oblivion, a bloated body of putrid rot until reanimated from the inside. Emblem did not fault the multi-hued beauty for her conceptions, or misconceptions as the truth of the nature was. How was she to know when Emblem would not share, how could she understand what had never occurred to anyone she knew, to herself, to anyone the Uiscen herself knew? Trial and error, try again and again until one thousand and one times it worked at last.

Athena spoke and immediately Emblem shook her head in her swift correction of the diagnoses that the Reioghan attempted to give. No in fact, Emblem did not feel anything, not even the desperation that should be seeded in the coverings of her heart. She wanted it yes, as a thirsting sage wanted knowledge, in that logical sense of the word. But did it make her chest pound in the night, ache from the constant struggle of gaining herself back? No. Never. What a cursed way to be then, when it should have, would have if she had just been normal. Of course she let the wolfess continued but her eyes narrowed as Athena compared what Emblem had gone through to what she had gone through and surely this was not a wise thing to say. Athena did not even know what tortures Emblem’s poor mind had been subjected to in the nights as Lucifer toyed with her like a cat teasing a mouse before the kill. It was not as if her advice was preposterous and unusual, cruel or unwise.

But she’d already been there.

And the fact of the matter was, though Athena was gentle, pure in her want to aid Emblem from whatever had ravished her mind with such a state of supreme sadness, she was trying to fix her. Had Athena been the first one, Emblem would have listened and perhaps partaken in such a drink as the goddess of war and knowledge offered her with open hands. But Emblem was tainted, her virginity stolen in a rape of anger and misunderstanding. Sierrehn had tried, wrongly accused and cursed her in his attempt to bring her back and Emblem’s patience for these therapy sessions was short fused. Still she would pay heed to this ice queen for she had not done Emblem wrong after all and Emblem would not be unfair.

"I thank you for your wise words and your time but unfortunately my ailment is deeper than any you have mentioned and thus harder to cure than just speaking to a stranger about it. I know this because I already have spoken to two wolves, Kyndle the Heyoka of the Anord, and Firehawk the Sage of the Tineans about what occurred in my past to make me such a way. In hopes of conjuring up former emotions, ghosts of memories that I could latch up on and try to bring forth that which I cannot reach. Because despite what you say, I cannot feel emotion. It is a matter of fact thing that is currently irreversible until I discover why." Emblem breathed her voice gentle but ever so monotonous, inflection only rising and falling to keep her voice in a state that could stand to be heard by others.

"And if you would please, I would not mind continuing conversation with you if we can move past these personal things. Many wolves have already tried to fix me and I can tell you now most of them were unpleasant. I merely wish to inquire, how is your pack doing now? How is Kai?”

OoC Name: Reda
IC Name: Redaeriin Karniat (Pronunctiation: Red-a-er-e-in Car-nee-at) (Reda for short)
Pack: Khaos
Job: Hunter
Age: 2 years and 4 months
Gender: Male
Species: Sitis
Roleplaying Example:
Redaeriin tread lightly on the edge of the cliff. His small dark gold frame was light enough that he need not worry about the edge breaking off. Even if under the unnusual circumstances that he did fall, Reda would just unfurl the light gold wings that were currently hanging half open from his back. Those pitiful wolves stuck on the ground were unaware that they were inferior to the Sitis in every way. Not wanting to be bothered walking, Redaeriin stretched his wings before leaping of the edge, and pumping his wings rose into the air. His dark gold fur shimmering in the waning light, his eyes searched for movement on the ground. Not seeing any, Reda flew through the air to the cave he had been calling his home for the past week.
Moving to measly buck he had taken down the other day. Reda had been eating the smallest possible amounts of meat off the skinny deer to avoid drawing attention to the location of his dwelling. Gnawing on the already revealed thigh bone, Reda flopped down in the deepest section of the cave. Not wanting to sleep at the time, he reviewed what he knew about the area and the game that populate this region. There should have been a large number of deer here. Instead Redaeriin was stuck out here, looking for deer that were gone. Still, he could not go home for another few days. They would expect him to search everywhere, and he would do just that.

OoC Name:
Indigo
IC Name: Djeriaan Rakta
Pack: Nevadi
Job: Hunter
Age: Four
Gender: Female
Species: Imber
Roleplaying Example: Djeriaan tripped over a rock. Again. And landed in a bush. Again. If only she could tell how far she was from that tree. She looked up, then ahead, then back. Judging from the look of things, the tree was about three feet away, which meant that if she turned now--

Okay, maybe it wasn't quite three feet away. She shook her head and reached a paw up to rub her nose, then moved into a trot, trying to get out of these tightly packed trees. They were starving, and there was nothing around except--wait! Was that a buck? It was! Hmm. If that tree had been that close by, and the deer appeared to be at least twice that far away, if she could just get close without tripping...Ah, good, good. She had avoided everything in her path so far. Just a few more feet now and--

Thunk.

Drat. The buck had heard her and fled. Darn her messed-up depth perception! Djeriaan got up, kicked viciously at the shrub she'd stumbled on--literally--and set off at a run through the trees, looking for something else. If she didn't trip again, she should be able to bring something back.

Yeah, right.
