I'M COMING OUT
She always did like these mushrooms.
It was dark and eerily quiet, which was exactly the way Bryn liked it. And sure, it was a pain in her god-damned ass to get to this mystical place, but what good things were obtained without a little bit of effort? It was far away from the ferns of her Nevadi Range, but despite the lack of foliage it really wasn't that much different. The shadows were similar to those cast by the great trees of the forest that she ruled over, and it wasn't as if these were any better at hiding her flame-colored coat. Psh. She rolled her tropical-water eyes at the thought of her actually being hidden anywhere. The only drawback to being an Imber, she supposed.
Her quills flexed with this thought, and the Sideri smirked as the familiar glow of the strange fungi caught her eye. Even though her sides were heaving, and her stomach was growling from lack of food, she had a glint of triumph in her eyes, and a sly smirk on her face. This was nice. Sometimes her packmates could be so strange; sometimes she would wonder why she had even went along with the tasks that had been given to her to prepare her for the position that she held so close to her. But then she would push the thought aside and shake her vibrant body. It was what she did this time, a simple matter of repeating a routine that had been drilled into her mind with many repetitions. Laying down near a particularly large bunch of the mushrooms, she yawned and laid her head on her paws, not wanting to go to sleep yet, but wanting to rest, all the same.
SO YOU BETTER GET THIS PARTY STARTED
