In 1692, in the Ipswich Colony of Massachusetts, five families with untold power formed a covenant of silence. Welcome To Spenser Academy. Located in the heart of the small town of Ipswich, Massachusetts. Here in the academy, you will find your usual drama, sex scandals, local parties, and the horrible fights. But it's really nothing like you average Academy on the Eastern part of the United States. If you haven't heard the myth, yes there is one. It's about the Ipswich Colony back in the late 1600's with 5 families but one lusting for more power. But that family was banished. Now it's the four families that the sons are very popular.
The Danvers, Garwins, Parry, and Sims. They have a little clique as you can say, but they are everything else like a normal kid on campus but they have these powers that are addictive. A local murder has just happened in the town at a party which the four went to. And almost the whole school kids. Everyone is pointing fingers here or there, not really knowing who to blame. And of course, everyone is a suspect, until they find that one person. Maybe that new kid.
With a new year comes new challenges. Not only do the boys have to worry about a series of strange events but there's also something else on the wind. A new power. It's one they can barely sense but it's there, nonetheless. What they don't realize is that they're not the only children of Massachusetts with powers. When the Trials struck Salem, the matriarchs of the founding families came together to also being forth a covenant of silence to protect their families and the powers each held. With these families, the power has passed through the generations to the eldest female, one for each generation in the five founding families of Salem.
After meeting up at summer camp and realizing who they were, the girls now find themselves at Spenser, together. Amazing, how small the world really is. With a new branch of the magical family, it seems as if there are secrets to be discovered; secrets that affect both Ipswich and Salem. Will these lines come together and work as one to uncover mysteries centuries old or will they be enemies, using the Craft against their siblings? Only you can make that decision.
