Maybe this is shameless self promotion on my part, but I think that if you're in a band, you should promote yourself! I LOVE music and it's always nice to find a new band here and there! So I'll start!

I'm in a Ska band called "The Beam Me Up Ska-Ts!" We are working on recording right now, so I apologize if you listen to one and it sucks. (The only recordings we have are from our first show we ever did!) But we're better now. You can watch our recent stuff on Youtube.

I envision there to be a ska band in the future that features a pirate motif at all of their shows. They would be called the Ska ARGH!!!'s. Oh and the lead singer will have a big scar on his/her face.

Covert Intelligence Operation (CIO) - My first band, we play ska too, originally we were supposed to have a spy theme, but no one else wanted to play in a suit. We've been around for 8 years.

Abortion Twins - Punk band that started as a joke, and continued because we all still felt like playing fast music with fart jokes.

The Pants! - Another ska band, we played a show with Zolof in 2007 !smile.gif Broke up in 2009 but might be getting together to do one more show in 2011.

Danny Smooth And The Nite Owls - Cover band I started a while ago because me and a few of my friends were bored.

And I'm also in a traditional ska band. We don't have a name yet.

The name means Monday 8 AM in spanish.
Please feel free to insult me big_grin.gif
Or contact me at cuentosdepapel@msn.com

Here it goes!

It depends... we use it officially, but when talking informally, we use the AM-PM clock.

big_grin.gif Good point, anyway!

Thanks for listening! jig.gif

I'm a shameless self-promotion whore. (Don't use that word, little kiddies!) My band is/was "Blood Sledge Electric Death Chickens." We were a ""tard-core" band active from 1995-2000. I quit and the rest of the guys (three brothers) kept going for a few months then broke up. We did a reunion show in December of 2009 and more people showed up to that show than any of our shows when we were active. We had so much fun we decided to remain a band and play whenever all four of us were in Michigan at the same time. We were pretty new to our instruments when a lot of our stuff was recorded and the production is not that good (we didn't have the money to take our time and make it good.) on our first album but take a listen if you're interested.
